St Edmund's Episcopal Church San Marino

The Third Sunday in Lent, March 8th, 2015

The Parish Vestry has initiated a nation-wide search for a full-time Director of Youth Ministires, with Sylvia Smythe serving as committee chair. This is an exciting move forward in our common life, and we ask your prayers as we discern our candidates.

Father David Copley, the Director of Mission Personnel for the Episcopal Church will be our preacher at both 8am and 10am this coming Sunday Lent Three. The Episcopal Church Young Adult Service Corp places young adults ages 21 – 30 throughout the Anglican Communion, and is also under Copley’s direction. Father Copley will meet with youth preparing for confirmation in the Youth Room following the 10am liturgy to discuss service and mission endeavor in the Episcopal Church. A native of England, Fr. Copley now lives in Tarrytown, New York with his wife, the Rev’d Susan Copley, Rector of Christ Church Tarrytown.

Your parish is hosting a Diocesan Seminar, discussed below, this coming Saturday, and your participation is welcomed.
