St Edmund's Episcopal Church San Marino

The Eighteenth Sunday After Pentecost, September 27th, 2015

Debra Spaulding and the terrific Event Team bring us an amazing evening Under The Stars on the Pomegranate Patio of the Old Mill in San Marino (1120 Old Mill Road, San Marino, California) this coming Saturday!

A huge invasion have signed up (we hope to leave the Old Mill in preservation condition, and the Board of the Old Mill, Team member John Quinn, seems confident).

The Celestial Patron pre-gathering ’round the corner on the lovely grounds of host Mike Mathis will, we trust, also be ventured with civility.

Celestial Patron events commence at 5:30pm, and the Old Mill doors open at 6:30pm.

Two live performances will upgrade our casual attire, and, for those unable to attend, it is possible to participate and assist the parish through the advance purchase of Raffle tickets.

Details below, but you can tell I’m excited!

Jeff Moreton, renowned master of the bike, is stepping up to a call from a local Episcopalian institution, the Bishop Gooden Home, sponsoring a Bike Ride in support of men in recovering from addiction. (Jeff also it is rumored, knows bike routes leading to ale houses, but those will not be a part of this particular ride). Join the “St. Edmund’s Wolf Pack Riders” in this event 7am Saturday morning October 24th, Pasadena Courthouse.

Thanks to those who have written notes and cards to the men and women of our Armed Forces as a part of last week’s Service Sunday effort, sponsored by our Local and Global Partnership chapter!

Grace and peace and celebration!
