Our shared Thanksgiving Eve Eucharist with the Lutherans will occur this year at Trinity Lutheran Church, just one block South of St. Edmund’s along San Gabriel Boulevard.
Pastor Ed McGee will Celebrate the Eucharist according to the Lutheran Rite, and Canon Smythe will preach. All the gathered will thereafter consume large quantities of Lutheran pie!
This annual affirmation of the Full Communion existing between Lutheran and Episcopal branches of Christ’s Holy Catholic Church expresses strides taken toward visible union within the Body of Christ.
