6th - 12th grade

• 9:00-10:00am - Senior High Youth
• 10:00-11:00am - Junior High Youth & Children's Sunday School (K - 5th Grade)

Regular Gatherings

The core of Saint Edmund’s youth ministry for 6th-12th grades takes place on Sunday mornings at 9am for Sr. High and 10am for Jr. High. In addition, we have monthly gatherings usually at the homes of parishioners. “First Friday” is the annual monthly gathering for Sr. High and “Second Saturday” is the same event for Jr. High. During these events youth share a meal together and deepen their relationship with God and each other.

Major Events

In addition to our gatherings in homes and on Sunday Mornings there are often “major” events each month. These events can include just the youth from our Parish or the youth from other Episcopal Parishes in our area (Deanery), or even youth from the entire Diocese.

Acolytes

We have an active youth Acolyte ministry.   Acolytes must be baptized. If they have not been confirmed, they should plan to participate in a confirmation class as soon as it is possible and convenient. Due to the size of our processional crosses and banners, and the length of processions, acolytes must be in Middle School.
